Nicholas Henry is a litigation associate who oversees cases that go to court – commercial real estate disputes, landlord-tenant conflicts, lease negotiations, and more.
“I like to fight,” Nick says. “I don’t like it when people are harmed by someone else’s action.”
A Mankato, Minnesota native, Nick attended Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies Education. He also was heavily involved in theatre, which he says has helped him excel in the courtroom as he’s arguing a case. After college, Nick spent time as a camp counselor, landscaper, and ski instructor in Montana before serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bangladesh. After he saw some fellow volunteers being wronged by their supervisors, Nick wrote a letter in their defense. It resulted in a positive outcome for his friends. Until then, he had never considered a career in law. He spent a few years working in the corporate world – and that is when Nick realized he wanted a more meaningful career. So, he enrolled in law school at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.
After coming home to Minnesota, Nick spent four years as a solo practitioner before joining the Morris Law Group June of 2019. He loves that every day is different – and that no case is the same. Nick is passionate about each and every client.
“I see my role as looking out for my clients’ best interests, always. I won’t stop until we reach a positive outcome,” says Nick.
Nick is getting married in September 2020. He lives in Bloomington and enjoys hunting, snowboarding, and other outdoor sports, and giving a little fatherly advice to his future stepchildren. Nick also spends much of his time with Vader, his black lab puppy. Email Nick at firstname.lastname@example.org.
